NGANDU

This Kenyan coffee comes from Ngandu Factory in Nyeri, one of the country’s most renowned growing regions. Grown in rich volcanic soil by smallholder farmers cultivating SL28, SL34, Batian, and Ruiru 11, it captures the region’s vibrant character. Fully washed and carefully dried on raised beds, the cup is layered and expressive, with rhubarb, strawberry pie, pink lemonade, and crisp blood orange in a bright, beautifully structured profile.

Coffee from Ngororero washing station is celebrated worldwide, and this lot shows why. Clean and bright, it balances sweetness, fruitiness, and a creamy texture. After a strict sorting process, cherry is pulped on a Pinhalese pulper that removes up to 80% of the mucilage before fermentation. Parchment is then fermented for 10 hours before being laid out to sun dry on raised beds. While drying, parchment is regularly sorted and sifted for even drying.
NYAMYUMBA

Tasting notes: Caramel & Pink grapefruit
Nyamyumba’s washed Bourbon is a classic expression of Rwanda’s high-altitude terroir. Rich caramel and toffee sweetness meet crisp red apple and pink grapefruit in a creamy, structured cup. Cultivated by smallholders in Rubavu between 1,500 and 2,000 meters, the cherries are hand-selected and rigorously sorted at the station. The result is clean, vibrant, and consistently elegant - a coffee that combines comfort with precision.
